Netaji Subhas University is a state university that is situated in Garhwa district, Jharkhand in India. As it was established in the year 2016, it is accredited by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The university stands accredited by NAAC and has received ‘B’ grading in the year 2020. As per the NIRF Rankings 2023, Netaji Subhas University stands in the rank of 151 among the universities across India. It has programs for under graduate, postgraduate and Ph.D level in disciplinaries such as arts, commerce, science, education, law and so on. 

University has numerous courses including BA, BSc, BCom, MA, MSc, MCom, MEd, LLB and many others. Some of the exams undertaken by this university are the semester end exams, annual exams, and the entrance exams like PGET for admissions. The admission procedure is conducted in May every year for the Under Graduate as well as Post Graduate courses. It is a computer application and the students are admitted based on the merit, their performance in entrance examination. There is also a provision of getting entry at a later stage and scholarships are also available under different categories. The admission procedure is open throughout the year, although the last date for the submission of applications is in July. They are administered about twice a year, particularly early November and early April at most institutions.

Netaji Subhas University is also having an active placement cell wherein students are given opportunity to appear in campus interviews conducted by various leading companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, IBM etc. About 70% of the students who appeared for placements were placed in 2023 with the maximum salary offered at 7 LPA and the minimum salary offered being 3.5 LPA. The major companies providing placements for the students are Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini and others. It has strategic partnerships with corporate giants such as ONGC, Coal India etc which not only opens up more employment opportunities for students after completing the respective courses. Education is the biggest priority of every student and after completing the graduation from the Netaji Subhas University some of the students go for the higher Studies.

Netaji Subhas University (NSU), Jharkhand is one of the state universities situated at Jamshedpur and was established in the year 1999 which provides Undergraduate Programs, Post graduate Programs and Ph.D in faculties of Arts, Science, Commerce, Education, Law and Management faculties. 

Netaji Subhas University which has been establishing great placement records in the recent times. The university’s graduates are hired by leading companies like TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, and Infosys. More about, in the academic session 2021-22, the percentage of the campus placement through the campus recruitment drive was above 85%. The maximum salary offered in campus placement was Rs. 18,000 per month by Microsoft. The average salary package was about Rs. 6,20,000 per annum. Manufacturing, finance, and marketing firms also recruit these business, engineering and sciences graduates while there is major hiring by IT service companies. Having a training and placement cell itself the university has set its goal for 100% placements in the coming years by expanding its relationship with companies.
