NIT Warangal is one of the best engineering and technological Institutes in India that was Established in the year 1959. It provides various undergraduate and postgraduate programs in several departments are Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, among others. Choose the course you want to apply for, and then fill in the details of the online application form and then attach the necessary documents and information. Complete the payment of application fees through online mode.
For online admission procedure, pick up the application form from the institute’s academic section against a fee as prescribed. The fields to complete include personal information, academic details, and communication information correctly. The following documents are to be attached as attested copies qualifying examination mark sheets, certificates, if applicable category certificate, and other test score, reports if any. This should be accompanied by a duly filled application form along with a demand draft of the application fees to the academic section of the institute before the stipulated date. Computer Science and Engineering department of the institute provides a 4 years BTech programme, which requires minimum 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in class 12th standard exams like JEE Main, BITs admission test or any state level entrance exam. Another Electrical Engineering program offered by the department is the BTech, which has similar requirements for admission and accepted exams. Other sought after UG programmes are offered by departments such as Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering,Civil & Chemical Engineering where the eligibility involves passing exams like JEE Main, JEE Advanced, BITSAT etc along with a minimum of 60% aggregate in PCM of 12th examination.
National Institute of Technology, Warangal (NITW) is an institute of national importance and one of the reputed engineering colleges in India. The admission to the B.Tech for the year 2024 will be through the JEE Main examination. Candidates interested to pursue the B.Tech/ B.E. course must score above the cutoff marks set by the committee to be qualified for JEE Main. In addition, they are also expected to undertake the JoSAA counselling, which determines the seat allocation.
The total intake of B.Tech course of NITW in all the branches is nearly 900. The number of seats available at the beginning and end of various programs will be announced beforehand during counselling in terms of its difficulty level, population and intake capacity. subjects like Computer Science and Engineering for instance are usually more popular hence will always have higher cutoffs.
