O.P. Jindal Global University, commonly known as JGU, is a private, non-profit, international university situated in Sonepat, Haryana, and was founded in 2009. JGU is accredited by the University Grants Commission of India (UGC) and approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI). It has recently got accredited grade ‘A’ by NAAC in the year of 2023. According to NIRF India Rankings 2023, JGU has secured 76th rank in general ranking however it has ranked second in the private universities ranking.
The Jindal Global University provide undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral programs in nine schools of Law, Business & Management, International Relations & Human Security, Public policy, Liberal Arts and Humanities, Journalism & Communication, Architecture & Design, Banking and Finance, Environment & Sustainability. Some of the main programmes offered are BA LLB/BBA LLB (5 years integrated programme), BA Liberal Arts And Humanities (3 years), BBA Liberal Arts And Humanities (3 years), BA (Hons) Mass Communication (3 years), MA Economics (2 years), MA Public Policy (2 years) and PhD programmes across all disciplines.
JGU has a wide range of career prospects and has recorded a placement rate above 92% for the July 2023 graduating cohort. Some of the leading recruiters appeared during the placement drive were Deloitte, EY, Amazon, TAS, Reliance, Adani Group, Tata Group, Flipkart, Reckitt Benckiser, Sterlite Power, among others. Overall, students got an average of 7.02 LPA as per placement report, the highest domestic package of 35 LPA. The highest international package that was offered was at 48 LPA. Some of the students also sought further education in other universities such as Oxford, Cambridge, NUS, KCL among others.

O.P. Jindal Global University of professional infrastructure is situated in Sonepat, Haryana, and also the university got great placement opportunities for its students. Currently, some of the companies that participate in giving placements to students are Deloitte, EY, PwC, Amazon, Microsoft, and several law firms. The highest salary package in the campus placement for 2022-23 was of 32 LPA and the average salary of the batch was 8.2 LPA.
