PDM University is a self-financed private university in the city of Bahadurgarh, Haryana, India. PDM University came into existence in 1997 which has been recognized by the University Grant Commission of India (UGC), affiliated to Bar Council of India (BCI), and National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with grade ‘A’. However, in the latest NIRF rankings that were released in the year 2023, PDM University has been ranked between 101-150 universities in the country.
The university has a diverse curriculum and is well equipped in all fields with programs that include undergraduate, postgraduate, masters and doctoral levels. Among the prestigious programmes offered at the PDM University, the leading ones are undergraduate programmes such as BBA, BCA, BA LLB, B.Com, B.Tech in CSE/IT/ECE, postgraduate programmes in MBA, MCA, M.Tech, MA, and doctoral programmes. Admission for the year 2024 shall be done in May 2023 for the batch of 2024. The applicants while seeking admissions will have to write the entrance test, namely PDM CET which is conducted by the university and then go through the counseling sessions for the seat allocation in a provisional capacity. All dates of the exams and the admission application process will be posted on the University’s website by April, 2023.
Placement: PDM University has maintained a high standard for placement where number of reputed companies from various fields visit the campus to hire the students. Recruitment is always a major strength with esteemed companies such as Capgemini, Infosys, Wipro, Hinduja Global Solutions, HDFC Bank, Federal Bank, ICICI Bank, IndusInd Bank etc coming down to the college to recruit candidates.There are more than 500 students getting placed in these companies every year and the highest pay package offered was more than INR 10 LPA. The placement salary range continues to be INR 4-6 LPA and the placement rate is more than 85% for the last 5 years which are quite impressive.

The facts about the PDM University is that the university has a glorious record of placements among the students. Some of the most popular recruiters that have visited the campus for placements in 2022 are Accenture, HP, Infosys, TCS, Wipro, and Cognizant, among others. The maximum salary package was Rs. 32 Lacs offered by Accenture and 89% students were placed in leading firms. The trend of package was Rs. 6.5 Lakh per annum for the engineering and management students in the year 2022. Other major recruiters of the year included Capgemini, Deloitte, ride hailing giant Ola, Amazon and so on. About employment, the placement ratio this year was 85% to all eligible undergraduates and postgraduates. PDM has placed more than 3000 eligible students every year and has witnessed a rise of about 30% in the recruitments done by it in the last three years.
