Courses offered by Poornima University Jaipur are undergraduate and postgraduate in engineering, management, sciences, design, and law and many other streams A student can apply for admission if he/ she fulfills the eligibility criteria set by the departments of the university. For B.Tech programs in CSE, ECE, ME, Civil students are eligible if they passed 12th or equivalent examination with PCM/PCB streams with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. For architecture program, applicant requires fifty percent in PCM/PCB and obtain a good score in NATA. For admission to BBA and BCom programs the candidate must have obtained 50% in 12th from any stream. BA LLB program is 45% in 12th and CLAT/LSAT score. Undergraduate in Physics, Chemistry, Maths etc., require 50% in 12th PCM stream. For BDes, there is 50% in 12th any stream and score in UCEED/NID/NIFT exams are required. In order to obtain an MTech degree, a candidate must have completed a BTech in the related branch with at least 60% marks. To be eligible for an MBA degree, one must possess a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks and have to appear for the CAT/MAT test. The admission into LLM program is done with an LLB qualification with an 55% aggregate mark being the requirement.
The programmes provided by the university includes engineering, sciences, design, law, management, agriculture, education and many other. National level entrance exams dates are as follows: CAT – November last week, GATE- February first week CLAT- May last week, UCEED – January third week. The release of the application form is usually 3- 4 months from the date of the specific examinations. It involves filling an online application form, uploading the required documents along with fees and in case selected for the final list one has to attend the group discussion/personal interview sessions. Candidates are selected for admission through final merit list which is prepared on the basis of marks of the qualifying examination, marks in the entrance examination and performance in selection process. It depends on the qualifications of the student, the specialty as well as the availability of spaces in a particular course.

Documents Required for Admission in PU Jaipur for Different Courses:
1. Qualifying Exam: As per the eligibility, the candidate should have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and any one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subjects.
2. Minimum Marks Required: Candidates belonging to the general category should have passed the 10+2 examination with at least an overall of 45 %. The minimum eligibility criteria of SC/ST candidates are required to secure at least 40 percent marks.
3. Entrance Exam: The candidates are required to sit for engineering entrance tests like JEE Main, REAP, etc., and the university takes cognizance of the results yielded by the tests to come up with merit lists.
4. Counselling Process: The candidates who obtain the highest rank in the merit lists prepared for each course are invited to counselling as per a schedule. The process of distributing seats is done during counselling.
5. Document Verification: In counselling session, the candidates are required to submit their pass out 10 plus two mark sheet, qualifying examination admit card, entrance test result sheet and other documents as demanded by the counselling authorities.

8. Remit the application fee through net banking, debit/credit card to finish the application
9. Take the printout of the confirmation page that contains the application number for further use.

1. Merit in Qualifying Exam: Selection is merit based and it is agreed that merit means the degree obtained or marks/percentage secured by the candidate in the 10+2 or equivalent qualifying examination.
2. Subject Combination: In simple words, the students should have had the proper subjects in their 10+2 to make them eligible for a specific B.Sc. For instance, Physics, Chemistry, and Maths as part of the course requirements for B.Sc in Physics.
3. Reservation: Government rules are followed for the reservation of the seats for candidates of the respective reserved categories like SC, ST, OBC, EWS etc. Certificate must also be genuine and require the candidates to present it.
4. Age Limit: There are no specified age limits for admission in B.Sc. Most organizations have no specific minimum or maximum age requirement for admission in B.Sc. However, for candidates from the reserved categories there may be some concessions permitted even on the issue of the maximum age limit admissible.
5. Compartment Cases: The students who have appeared for 10+2 or examination for compartment or waiting for the results can also apply. Their admission will also be given provisional basis for any course they are qualified for as soon as their result is released.

5. Apply for the online mode where there are a lot of fields to fill up – basic information, academic information, contact information etc.
6. Scan and upload the documents where required- photo, signature, class 10 and 12 marksheets etc.
7. This can be done through net banking/debit card/credit card/ etc.
8. Click on the ‘print’ button at the bottom of the page to download the completed application with the application number.
9. The completed application form printed out must be accompanied by photocopies of the submitted documents and be hand delivered to the department of PU Jaipur before the given deadline.
10. However, it is recommended to save and note down the application number for any future concern in regards to the admission status, merit list etc.
