Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University (PSTU) situated in Hyderabad, Telangana, has a number of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral studies in the faculties of Arts, Commerce, Science, Education, Law, and Management. The basic eligibility criteria differ across department and program. For admission in BA, BCom and BSc, 12th pass in the relevant stream is mandatory and the candidate should have secured minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. The importance of graduation in the relevant subject with minimum 55% marks is mandatory for MA programs. To be eligible for MCom there is a requirement of BCom degree with minimum 50% marks. MSc programmes are undertaken by BSc holders with at least an average of 60%. This is because the MEd program accepts BEd degree holders and since BEd is a more comprehensive program that covers both teaching and curricula, these teachers should be able to design effective teaching and learning environments and teaching and learning resources. The LLB course requires 45 percent marks if done after twelfth class and 55 percent marks if done after graduation. MBA and PG in sciences require a specific bachelors degree of 60% aggregate marks. TS PGLCET, TS LAWCET, TS EdCET and PSTU CET is accepted for admission to the post graduate courses and the entrance test conducted by the PSTU is also accepted for the admission.
UG and PG all course admissions for the batch 2024 will be started from the May of 2023. The various streams and programs offered are BA in economics, journalism, English and history, BCom in general, computers and honors, BS in MPC, MECS, MCs, MA in Telugu, English, history, economics, public administration, sociology and journalism, MCom in finance, marketing and HR, MSc in mathematics, physics, chemistry, computer science, data science and electronics, LLB, BEd, MEd, MBA TS EAMCET, TS ECET, TS LAWCET, TS PGLCET, TS EdCET are the common entrance tests for admission into the degree and PG courses in this state. The university also invites students to sit for their own tests, commonly known as the University entry tests. The application process mostly begins about April and the admission is usually based on entrance tests and merit.

The students must fill the online applications in the university’s official website they are www.teluguuniversity.ac.in and then click on Admissions. First, they must signup to create an account then enter all necessary details as their personal information, academic background, the course applying for etc then attach scanned documents. There is an application fee which has to be paid normally through online means.
If the students want to fill an offline application then they can download this application form from the website or they can visit the administrative section of the university and get the application form on and after paying a minimal charge. It is obligatory to attach the documents required to completing the form and to pay the application fee before submitting the form to the specified counter on the due date.
