PJTSAU Professor Telangana State Agricultural University JTSAU is a state agricultural university in Hyderabad in the southern Indian state of Telangana and has been established to provide education, research and extension in agriculture. PJTSAU is accredited by Indian Council for Agricultural Research (ICAR) and University Grant Commission (UGC). Accreditation with NAAC has given it an ‘A’ grade in the year 2023. PJTSAU was ranked 30 in agricultural universities in India according to NIRF 2023 Ranking.
PJTSAU currently has its undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD programs in areas such as Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Basic Sciences, Home Science and many more. Some of the programs offered are BSc (Hons) Agriculture, BTech Agricultural Engineering, MSc Agriculture with specialization in Agronomy, Entomology and so on.
PJTSAU has an active placement cell it is in charge of the recruitment of students from the campus. Major corporate companies which have invested time on campus recruitment are Advanta, Corteva, Jain Irrigation, Nuziveedu Seeds, Mahindra Agri, Big Basket and more. With regards to the placement for the batch of 2022-23, 767 students got placed and the highest CTC stood at 32.4 LPA. The overall placement percentage from this college was 88.51 % and the average salary offered to the candidates was 4.9 LPA. Some of the major sectors that are targeted towards recruiting people include farming, food processing, agricultural engineers, researchers in the agricultural field, bankers, and others in the line of agriculture.

Major companies like ITC, Godrej Agrovet, Mahyco, Nuziveedu Seeds and Krishidhan Seeds come for campus placement and offer lucrative packages to the students. Placements for the year 2023 revealed that out of 180 eligible students, around 140 students got placed with the median salary being INR 6 lakhs per annum and the maximum salary package being INR 18.6 LPA by Nuziveedu Seeds. The median salary of the graduating batch was INR 6.2 LPA.
