Punjab Agricultural University Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. For undergraduate courses, pass in Class 12th science stream with minimum of 50- 60% marks score as per the program.
2. For postgraduate programs, a bachelor’s degree in a related field is required with minimum 50-60% aggregate score depending on the program.
3. For Lecturer: PhD, Master degree in relevant field with minimum 55% marks or valid GATE/NET Scores.
4. Concession of 5% marks in all programs for the students of the reserved category.
5. For international students, the credential of qualification that is recognized by the Association of Indian Universities.
6. Satisfy other conditions of the programs such as entrance tests, interview, references.

Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) has a well-developed placement cell to coordinate for the campus placements by different organizations. Overall, in placement, session 2024 more than 150 national and multinationals companies visit PAU for placements. Top companies that participated in campus recruitments were Reliance Retail, amazon, Byju’s, Tata Group, Adani Group & Infosys. More than 85% of the eligible students got selected in campus interviews and the highest number of offers from Microsoft with a pay package of approximately Rs 32,00,000 per annum was offered.
