1. It is done on merit by UP State Entrance Examination commonly known as UPSEE. It is imperative for the candidates to write UPSEE and obtain the requisite ranks for admission to the university.
2. For other general category candidates the minimum passing rank is roughly 20000 to get into VBS Purvanchal University. The cutoff ranks, therefore, may differ from year to year depending on the number of students who apply, the availability of space among other factors.
