This depends on the particular department of the company in question. For BSc programs, the candidates of departments like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, they should be passed 10+2 in science stream with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from any recognized board. HS, CBSE, ICSE are acceptable exams. For BA in subjects including Economics, Education, English, History, the applicant must have cleared 10+2 in any stream with 45% marks. For joining BCom, BBAHM, BCA streams, 10+2 pass in any stream with mathematics as a subject are necessary along with 40-45% marks according to the course.
The University provides different 3-year undergraduate courses in Science, Arts, Commerce, Computer Applications and vocational fields. The streams are BSc in subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Mathematics, BCA, BA with subjects such as Assamese, Education, History, Economics, English etc, BCom in Accounting & Finance, BBA and BHM in Hotel Management.
The Rabindranath Tagore University in Golaghat, Assam has the faculties of offering the programme in various fields of study such as Management, Computer Applications, Commerce, Economics, Education, Law, Sciences, Arts and Languages among others and the programme offered by the university was PhD. The admission requirements vary depending on the department of the university a student intends to join for Ph.D. For Management, the candidate must have done Master of Business Administration or equivalent from a recognized University securing not less than 55% marks and have cleared the NET/SET/GATE.
