Rabindranath Tagore University (RTU) is a Self finance university situated in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. It was set up in 2011 and was duly admitted as a member by the University Grants Commission of India. NAAC has provided RTU grade ‘B’ on the basis of its cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 2.62 on a scale of four. According to the NIRF Rankings announced in the recent past, RTU is in 101-150 rank band in Universities in India.
The university provides tuition in diverse courses at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral studies levels. Rabindranath Tagore University Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. Applicants must have passed their 10 plus 2 or similar examination from a recognized board The percentage criteria for the candidates depend on the course and varies from 50% to 60%.
2. For undergraduate programs, one can apply if he or she is from any stream such as Science, Commerce or Art. Particular courses may be counted based on the program.
3. The prerequisite for postgraduate study is a Bachelor’s degree in the subject area with the minimum marks differing with specialization.
4. The eligibility criteria have not demanded candidates to clear national/state level entrance exam or qualifying test conducted by the university in many programs.
