Raj Rishi Bhartrihari Matsya University is situated at Alwar, Rajasthan that is a state university of Rajasthan which was established in the year 2012. It has been accredited NAAC with ‘B+’ grade with 2.62 NIRF 2023 ranked University 151-200 in University Category. It is a multi-faculty university that has a variety of programs under its belt and they include undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and doctoral programs all offered under faculties such as Arts, Commerce, Education, Engineering & Technology, Law, Management, Science, Pharmacy and Yoga & Naturopathy faculties.

Admission to the course is done in the month of May every year. For UG programs, the admission process includes meritorious performance in the qualifying examination. In the case of PG programs, the admission is strictly done on merit basis based on entrance test which is conducted by the university itself. Examination are conducted in November/December and results are out in January. 2023 session examination will commence from 15.11.2023 On the other hand the admission for second year batch of 2024 will begin from 15.05.2024.

Some of the key recruiters are Infosys, Wipro, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Federal Bank, Amazon, Reliance Industries and so on The B-school offers placements to its students with approximately 50% of the students getting placed in the salary bracket of 2.5-5 LPA for graduate students and 4-7 LPA for post graduate students. The students are paid up to INR 15,00,000 per annum in terms of the highest salary package offered to them. The placement rate is generally above 85% for engineering degrees and 65-70% for other degrees. Raj Rishi Bhartrihari Matsya University Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. For the undergraduate courses like BA, BSc, BCom etc, the candidates are required to have the minimum qualification of 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board.
2. The candidates who are interested in postgraduate programs such as MA, MSc, MCom etc. must possess a relevant undergraduate degree along with minimum pass percentage as per rules.
3. Specifically for the diploma and certification programmes offered at the university, the AICTE has specified that students must have a 10+2 qualification.
4. As per UGC regulations, MPhil program entails a postgraduate degree, which should be of at least 55% marks from a recognized university.
5. For admission to PhD, it is mandatory to complete a master’s degree with minimum 55% marks; and the candidate has to undergo a university entrance test and interview.
6. The norms of reservation and relaxation in eligibility criteria which are prescribed by the government time to time for categories such as SC, ST, OBC, PwD shall also be followed strictly.
