RUHS Jaipur provides feasible medical & health sciences courses in its affiliated & constituent colleges. Some of the notable departments are Medical, Dental, Health, Nursing, pharmacology, physiotherapy, among others; Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Public Health, Ayurveda, Homeopathy, etc. The norms for admittance depends on the course –MBBS, BDS by passing class twelfth with aggregate of fifty percent in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. BSc Nursing is PCB and English with 45% respectively. For BPharm, PCB Maths group should be 45%. These structures requires 50% in PCB both BPT and BOT. BAMS and BHMS required PCB English 50%. Accepted entrance tests are NEET for MBBS/BDS, RPMT/NEET for Ayurveda/Homeopathy, and RUHS entrance exam for the Paramedical courses.
Some of the major courses that are being offered across streams in the year 2024 are MBBS, BDS, MD/MS, B.Sc/M.Sc Nursing, B. Pharm, D. Pharm, B. P. Th., B. OT, BAMS, BHMS etc. Exam like RUHS Entrance Test should be in June 2023, NEET UG should be in April 2023 and NEET PG has an unspecified date. It is done through RUHS MET online application in April- May 2023, downloading the admit card for the exam, taking the exam, declaration of results in June 2023, then the counselling process in July- August 2023 for the allocation of seats in various colleges based on merit and fees payment and documentation before the commencement of the course in September 2023.
In the application process applicants are supposed to submit their biographical, educational, and communication information as well as photos and copies of the mark sheets of qualifying examinations. Application fees can be remitted through online through net banking/debit card/credit card or Demand Draft only. These files have to be finalised and can be either physically delivered to the collection centres by the indicated date or sent through email to admissions@ruhsraj.org.
Admission to the programs is offered to the applicants on the basis of merit scores in the applicable standard examinations such as NEET-UG/PG. 1. On the basis of the percentage of the marks secured in the qualifying 12th standard examination.
2. The basic criteria for most of the B.Sc courses require the pass in 12th standard with the related subjects i.e., Math/Biology etc based on the course one is willing to pursue with minimum 50% marks where as 40% marks for reserved categories.
3. It was observed that the admission process in this institution is conducted through an online counseling system that considers the merit of the students. RUHS conducts its own entrance exam and offers admission according to merit list which is based on 12th standard marks for each B.Sc course offered.

5. In case of a tie in the merit scores, the tie-breakers considered (in order) are: higher classification in main courses, higher overall percentage, and a higher age.

3. Choose the B.Sc course/specialization of your choice for which you are going to apply for and then begin to complete the RUHS application form either through online mode or offline mode as prescribed.
4. The applicant should fill all the necessary details in the application form right from the personal details, address and phone numbers, certifications, documents, etc Check the details before submission.
5. This payment if applicable should be made for the application fees through the online payment gateway provided or by generating a challan for the offline fees payment process.
6. It may include scanned photographs, signatures, documents, and certificates, as per the guidelines laid down. Enclose photocopies if applying for the position manually.
7. Enclose the duly completed application along with the documents required and retain another copy of the confirmation/acknowledgement page.
8. Application number to be retained for purpose of as a reference when checking the status of an application.
9. If shortlisted, fulfil all requirements of document submission, medical examination etc., which are necessary before admission as the case may be before assigning a seat.
- RUHS conducts an entrance test and candidates are selected based on their merit or their performance in the entrance test. The entrance exam has sections, which intend to assess the candidates on various subjects that may be related to their chosen M.Sc field.
- Each M.Sc course is offered separately and the names of these courses include the likes of M.Sc Medical, M.Sc Nursing, M.Sc Pharmacy and so on.
- Besides the entrance exam, there are certain other requirements that candidates must fulfill such as the candidate must have a bachelor’s degree with the relevant subject (BSc, BPharm, BSc Nursing) and the minimum percentage of marks as per the norms of the university. This percentage is usually at 50% for general candidates.
- The proportion of the seats of the respective program to be filled by the candidates belongs to the reserved category such as SC, ST, OBC, MBC is followed according to the government norms. About relaxation in cutoff percentage, it can be stated that such concession is provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories.
- For the admission to the respective programs, class/merit list is prepared program-wise for general and reserved categories depending upon the entrance test scores. Through counseling, the candidates who had registered for M.Sc are provided according to their ranks and choice of college for the available seats in the participating colleges.
