Sai University Chennai is one of the largest universities with a large number of academic programs in areas of engineering, medicine, sciences, arts and humanities, commerce and management. Engineering branches of study at Sai University include Computer engineering, Information technology, Electronics and electrical engineering, Mechanical engineering, Civil engineering, Biotechnology and chemical engineering. The basic requirement for admission into engineering courses is passing the 12th standard with 60% of marks as aggregate of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or diploma in engineering with 60% marks. It offers MBBS, MD, MS and MDS programs and the admission criteria for the same involves completing the 12th standard education with minimum 65% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. BSc courses in subjects like physics, chemistry, maths, botany, zoology etc entail passing 12th grade with min 50% average for the relevant subjects. BA is a course that is available in economics, English literature, psychology, political science and many others, and the requirement is to pass the 12th grade.

For online submission, one has to go the university’s official website at www.sauniv.ac.in then click on ‘Admissions’. Find the program you wish to apply for and click ‘Apply Now’. To apply, you will be expected to come up with an account, and submit your personal information, academic information, scanned documents, and make an online application fee payment.

Sai University Chennai has a number of undergraduate courses in various fields including engineering & technology, sciences, liberal arts, business & management studies. Some of the most chosen UG courses are BTech in CSE, ECE, Mechanical etc. The admission criteria for these programs are 50% in 12th PCM/PCMB or Diploma lateral entry. Other related BSc programs include physics, chemistry mathematics which admit 50% in 12th PCM/PCB/PCMB and other examinations include JEE Mains, IIT JEE. It offers admission on 50% marks in 12th arts/humanities stream for BA in English Literature, Economics, and History. BCom Professional Accounting note 50% in 12th commerce stream that includes subjects like Accountancy Business. Majority of the UG programs admit students any national level tests in addition to 12th percentage.
Sai University provides only the full time and class room based courses for the UG courses in Engineering, Science, Arts & Commerce, Computer Applications.
