Sardar Patel University Vallabh Vidyanagar (SPUVV) is one of the state universities situated in Vallabh Vidyanagar, Gujarat, India. SPUVV is a private university that was established in the year 1955. The institution is accredited by the University Grants Commission and is also recognized by the Association of Indian Universities. It has been accredited Grade B++ by NAAC in the current year 2023. In the NIRF ranking of the year 2023, SPUVV was placed in the rank of 101-150 among the universities present in India. 

The university provide general and specialist undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, Post Graduate diploma and doctoral courses in arts, commerce, science, engineering, technology, medicine, management, pharmacy, law and education. Some of the popular courses are B.Tech., M.Tech., B.B.A., M.B.A., M.C.A., B.C.A., M.Sc., B.Sc, B.A, M.A, B.Pharma and M.B.B.S among others. The admission process test generally starts from March-April every year through university level or state level entrance test. For admission to different courses, exams GUJCET for B.Tech, GPAT for M.Pharm and CEED for M.Des are taken into account.

More than 75% of the actual number of students joining the campus get placed every year for different positions such as software developers, business analysts, medical, financial analysts, etc with average pay scales ranging from 3 LPA to 12 LPA during the placements.
