Shree Samarth Polytechnic is an engineering college in Nagpur, Maharashtra recognized by AICTE and DTE, and NAAC accredited with ‘A’ Grade. It is accredited for its quality technical education and training. It has ranked among the top 100 polytechnic colleges in the country as per the NIRF 2023 ranking released recently.
The institute conducts diploma courses in five disciplines: Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication and Mechanical Engineering. The duration of the diploma is three years with six semesters. The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) conduct examinations at the end of every semester. For the 2024 batch, the admission process is based on Merit acquired in CET and JEE Mains. In addition to the DTE exams, students also acquire certification courses from key industry players such as Microsoft, Oracle, Cisco, and others Application for admission to classes commencing in 2024 will be available from May 2023.
Shree Samarth Polytechnic offers excellent placement opportunities, and companies like Tata Consultancy Services, Cognizant, Infosys, and Larsen & Toubro frequently recruit from the college. For the past 3 years the placement record of the college reveals that more than 85% of the eligible students got placed. The maximum salary scale was Rs. 6.5 lakhs per annum with a median salary scale of Rs. 3.5 lakhs per annum. IT companies and some of the top companies which were frequent recruiters were Bosch, Voltas, Thermax, Sandvik etc. The placement team also offers training and counseling to the students in their first year so that they can develop the necessary skills to get placed and for those who already have a job offer, the training covers aptitude, technical and soft skills.

1. For Diploma in Computer Engineering, candidate must have passed 10th standard with minimum 50% marks (45% for reserved category) in Mathematics, Science and English.
2. To get admission in Diploma in Electrical Engineering, it is essential to pass 10th standard with minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC) only. Literacy, Numeracy and Science are subjects are mandatory.
3. To get the Diploma in Civil Engineering one should have passed 10th standard with Mathematics, Science and English as main subjects obtaining 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC) are eligible.
4. For admission in Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, students who have passed 10th standard examinations with minimum 50% average marks for open category (45% for SC/ ST) and main subjects being Mathematics, Science and English are eligible to apply.
5. Thus to be eligible to apply for Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, one must have passed 10th standard with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) in Mathematics, Science and English.
6. As per Diploma in Information Technology, the candidates have to pass the 10th examination with Mathematics, Science, and English subjects and have to obtain 50% marks aggregate (45% for SC/ ST/ BC/ PH category).
