Shri Govind Guru University (SGGU) is a private university established in the city of Godhra within the Gujarat state. SGGU was established in the year 2015 and is authorized by UGC and recognized by the Government of Gujarat. The university has been accredited Grade A by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and is ranked 200 in the NIRF Rankings of 2023. SGGU provides education at the undergraduate, post-graduate and Ph.D level in fields such as engineering and technology, management sciences, computer science, information technology, sciences, arts, education.

Shri Govind Guru University Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. Candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with minimum 50% marks for general category and 45% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates to get admission into undergraduate programs.
2. For post graduate programs, the candidate must have a relevant bachelors degree with minimum 50 percent marks, for reserved category it is 45 percent.
3. As per the eligibility criteria, candidate should have completed post graduation with minimum 55 percent marks and cleared NET/SET entrance examination for Ph.D.
4. For engineering courses offered as professional graduate courses, the candidate must have completed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with not less than 50% of marks in aggregate.
5. For management programs, students who graduated in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks are eligible along with aptitude tests such as CMAT/CAT.
6. Lateral entry admission, concessions and relaxations in eligibility criteria are subject to the norms of the university for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates.
Shri Govind Guru University Placements 2024
Shri Govind Guru University had a very good placement record for the students who passed out from the university. More than 85% of the first and second PGDM and MBA semester students were successfully placed in the campus interviews of reputed organizations in 2023. The maximum salary which was offered was Rs 18, 00,000 per annum from Google company. The average salary offered across branches were Rs 6.5 lakhs per annum with a good package offered for the candidates. Large recruiters taken part in the placements were Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro, Infosys, and Cognizant. Students of computer science engineering were the most favored and bagged the highest number of job offers. Some of the tests that the placement cell carries out for the students include aptitude tests and interview tests.
