SRMU Lucknow is one of the top University in Uttar Pradesh that offers various UG & PG programs in Engineering, Management, Science, Humanities, Education and Law sectors. Elgibility is different for different program – for the BTech degree such as CSE, ME, etc one has to pass class 12 in science stream with Physics,Chemistry and Maths and must secured more than 50 percent. Admission through entrance exams is also optional with the university admitting students through UPSEE, JEE Main and SRMEEE. The minimum requirement for qualifying for MBA admission is 50 percent aggregate marks in any graduating stream with UPSEE MBA, SRMEE, and CAT recognized.
The university has over ten faculties where you can Study a range of programs. Some of the major courses offered at SRMU Lucknow includes B Tech, M Tech, BCA, MCA, law programme like B A LLB and B B A LLB, teacher education programme like B Ed, M Ed, science programme like B Sc and M Sc in subjects like Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, B&MBA, B&MCom, MCA, B &M Arts, B& M Library Science and more than thirty UPSEE, which is organized by Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) to offer admissions in engineering and technology; whereas for other courses SRMEE (SRMU Entrance Exam) is conducted and then the counselling for provisional admission is done. For the engineering stream, the university accepts scores of JEE Main conducted by CBSE Besides, Class 12 results are also considered.
1. First, go to the university’s homepage and navigate to the admission/application pages. Try to find the link/details for B.Sc admission posted either on the university’s official website or on other educational forums.
2. Choose the B.Sc program you are interested in and its specialization if there are several of them. The following are some general B.Sc specializations that students can take: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, and many more.
3. Become a registered user on the university application portal and sign up to get a new user account.
4. While filling in all the required details in the application form including the personal details, academic details and the contact details etc. it is important that one fills the details correctly.
5. Documents to be uploaded are generally photographs and other prescribed documents such as mark sheets/academic certificates, and other certificates if required, are to be uploaded in Scanning or Image format only.
6. It is to be noted that the application fee payment should be done through net banking or any other online payment option as available.

SRMU offers a vast number of UG programs in various disciplines such as Engineering, Management, Sciences, Humanities, etc., The criterion of admission may differ from one UG course to another. For admission in B.Tech. courses like Computer Science, Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering etc. candidate must have successfully passed 12th or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics subjects and secured minimum 60% of marks in aggregate. They are UPSEE, JEE Main, and direct admission with merit obtained in the qualifying examination i.e. 12th standard. For BBA program, It is mandatory to pass the 10+2 in any stream with minimum 50% marks and the candidates can apply into the UPSEE/SRMUET. For BA/BSc programs like Economics/Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics, etc, they should pass 12th in respective stream with 50% marks and the admission is direct on merit system.
The major UG courses offered are: B.Tech: 8 disciplines, BBA, BA (Hons): 5 disciplines, BSc (Hons) 7 disciplines, BA LLB (Integrated), BCA, Diploma Engineering: 6 disciplines etc. The tentative dates for UPSEE/SRM University for the 2024 session are in April, 2024 whereas the JEE Main will be conducted in the months of January It may be filled up online for the mentioned exam schedule for all the students in concern. Students can apply through UPSEE/JEE Main/12th and those who have appeared in the specific SRMU entrance tests, other qualifying transcripts, academic performance and personal interviews between May-July 2024 for taking the UG programme starting from July 2024. The minimum eligibility requirements and the intake capacity of each of the UG programmes offered at SRMU are stated on the university’s official website.
