The SRM Institute of Science and Technology Tiruchirappalli has diverse undergraduate programs in engineering, management, science, humanities and medical sciences streams. For other B.Tech programs like B.Tech Computer Science Engineering, B.Tech Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, the eligibility is 12th standard passed with at least 60% average marks in PCM/PCBStreams. The admissions are valid for JEE Main, SAT Subject Tests, SRMJEEE.
For BBA and B.Com, the candidate should be 12th passed in any stream with minimum 50% marks taken together in the subject. BCA requires 12th Science with Mathematics as the condition for the admission of any candidate to the course. BA and BSc programs have entrance test based requirement and one need to pass 12th standard in relevant subjects and minimum 50-60% passing marks are expected. For admission in medical (paramedical) programs, the requirement is 50% in PCB aggregate of 12th standard.
