SSJ College of Pharmacy is a well-known pharmacy college situated in Chunabhatti, Mumbai. It was established in 2010 and is recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It is also approved by the Government of Maharashtra and it is NAAC accredited with Grade A; Further, in the recently released NIRF rankings 2023 for Pharmacy colleges, SSJ College of Pharmacy has secured 65th rank.
Graduate and postgraduate courses in pharmacy are taught in the institute, and their list is provided below. B.Pharm is bachelor of Pharmacy which is a full time four years course having semester exams in the month of December and May. They are given based on the Maharashtra state pharmacy common entrance test. Other courses are 2 years M.Pharm in Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Chemistry: Courses followed by semester examinations in the January and June. It should be noted that GPAT score is mandatory for admission of students in the college. PharmD was a course that took 6 years to complete with examinations administered at the end of each academic year. It is important to note that application process for the 2024 admissions will start in May, 2023.

1. BPharm (Bachelor of Pharmacy): Candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with physics, chemistry, biology/mathematics subjects and minimum 45% marks for General candidates and 40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
2. MPharm (Master of Pharmacy): Candidate must have completed BPharm degree with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) from any recognized university. GPAT qualification preferred.
3. PharmD (Doctor of Pharmacy): Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with PCB/M group with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) in aggregate.
4. PhD: The candidate should have passed MPharm degree with minimum 55% in aggregate (50% for reserved category). Should have qualified in GPAT/NET examination.
5. Diploma Courses: Candidate should have passed 10+2 examination and should have minimum 45% percentage of marks for general category and 40% for reserved category. For DPharm course maths subject is compulsory.
