The University named Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University (SRTMUN) is established in the year 1989 and is located at Nanded, of Maharashtra state. It came into existence in 1994 and has grown to become one of the premier institutes offering higher education in the Marathwada region. SRTMU has recently been re-accredited from NAAC with ‘A’ grade which proves the efforts of the college in providing a better future for the students. Some of it accomplishment includes fifty five programmes accredited by NBA and 64th position under universities categorie in NIRF 2023.
The university consists of faculties of Science, Arts, Commerce, Law, Education, Management, Pharmacy and Engineering where students are provided with a variety of courses to choose from. UG & PG programmes admissions are offered through CET/Entrance examination conducted by DHE/University respectively. Some of the major courses taught at an under graduate level are B.A, B.Com, B.Sc., B.B.A, B.C.A, while at Post Graduate level it is M.Sc., M.Com, M.A, M.B.A, M.C.A. and M.Tech specializations. Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. Aspirants applying for the undergraduate courses, they should have cleared their 10+2 or any other equivalent examination with more than 50% marks for the general category and 45% for the reserved categories.
2. For postgraduate programs, the candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in the relevant stream with minimum 50% marks (45% for reserved category) in their respective discipline from any university.
3. For admission in MPhil and PhD programs, the candidates should have passed their postgraduate degree in the respective subjects with at least 55% of marks and also should qualify the entrance test of the University.
4. In the case of professional courses such as LLB and MBA, applicants from any field can apply for the course but it is also important in some programs to meet other requirements such as examination results, which candidates must pass.
5. As per the GOI rules, when it comes to eligibility criteria for the reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC) and disabled persons, there will be certain relaxations.
