Swami Vivekanand Subharti University is a private University established in the city of Meerut in the state of Uttar Pradesh in northern India. This institution is among the universities recognized by the University Grants Commission of India and the National Assessment and Accreditation Council that has awarded the institution a B++ status. It performs a better role in the NIRF rankings of 2023 by being placed in the 101-150 band among all the Indian universities.
The university provides a combination of first degree, masters, doctoral, and other courses in the areas of engineering, management, science, law, education, pharmacy and agriculture. Some of the leading programs offered include the BTech, MBA, BSc, BA LLB, BEd, BPharm and BSc Agriculture among others. The admission process normally begins in April every year and students are admitted on Merit basis based on performance of the relevant admission qualifying tests. The tentative examination schedule for the next session of admission in 2024 is from May–July of the next calendar year.

Some of the key employers in India are: TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, IBM, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank etc. Students’ employability outcomes showed that 60% to 70% of the targeted students were placed in jobs and internships in 2022 with an average annual salary of 4-6 Lakhs per annum. The maximum salary package registered was touching 15 lakhs per annum. These placement and internship drives are very useful in offering the students corporate exposure before they complete their programs.
