The Symbiosis International University also known as SIU, is a private deemed university established in the city of Pune in Maharashtra State. The University was founded in 2002 and is accredited by the University Grants Commission in the country. NAAC has accredited the institution and awarded it a grade of A++, which is the highest possible rating. As per NIRF Ranking- 2023, SIU was on the 9th rank in the category of Universities in India.
SIU has various faculties that offer undergraduate and postgraduate courses such as the faculties of Management, Law, Engineering, Media and Communication, Humanities and Social Sciences, Computer Studies, Health Sciences among others. The popular courses offered by the institute are BBA, MBA, B.Tech, M.Tech, BCA, MCA, B.Design, M.Design, LL.B, LL.M. Some of these universities include Banaras Hindu University, Jammu University, University of Rajasthan and Jamia Milia Islamia which have the SET, SITEEE, SLSAT and other national level entrance examination to offer admission to deserving candidates. The admission process is normally set during February in every year. As for the dates and deadlines for exams and applications, it is different for each course.
It is worth mentioning that SIU is already known for having a very high placement ratio in recent years. There are numerous organizations from sectors as varied as the Finance Industry, Marketing Sector, Information Technology/Analytics, and the Consulting Sector etc. that come to this campus to carry out recruitments. The annual salary of placement at SIU has been highest of Rs 32.6 LPA and an average of Rs 6.5 LPA. Leading organizations such as KPMG, Deloitte, PwC, Tata Consultancy Services, Cognizant, Accenture, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Capgemini, Infosys, and Wipro have extended employment opportunities to more than 500 SIU students in 2022.These figures highlight the fact that Institute’s placement percentage for 2021-22 batch was 92.49%. The companies’ CV database and job offers have shown that during the recruitment period, over 9000 job offers were provided.

Since the placement cell works actively, they initiate pre-placement training to equip students for professions. The highest stipend offered in the academic year 2021-22 was INR 65 lakhs per annum and the average stipend being INR 8.36 lakhs per annum and the percentage of eligible students placed in the academic year 2021-22 across UG and PG Programs was 92.22%.
