Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) Hyderabad is an acclaimed Social Sciences University which offers a diverse number of UG and PG programs in various disciplines. Process for filling up of Admission Form online Read the instructions carefully before filling up the form:
1. For identification purpose, Aadhaar card, PAN card or driving license is required for verification of details of the applicant.
2. Passing certificate and mark sheet of class 10th are mandatory for verification of minimum eligibility and academic qualification from standard 10th onwards.
3. Proof of passing 12th standard or any equivalent examination is required to show the candidate’s qualifying academic achievement through mark sheet and passing certificate.
4. Original mark sheets of the degree for all the semesters and the final degree certificate must be produced to substantiate bachelor’s level of education.
5. Applicants are required to submit official documents of their entrance exam results such as TISSNET score card if applicable for the concerned program for which the applicant is seeking admission.
6. As for the reserved certificates, the student should furnish a copy of it like the SC/ST/OBC certificates in case one needs to apply for a reservation or scholarship.
The Tata Institute of Social Sciences Hyderabad enrolls students in various fields such as economics, psychology, social work, public policy and more undergraduate courses. As for the admission, the BA Economics program allows national level exams like CAT/MAT/CMAT/ATMA/XAT for enrollment. The integrated BA/MA Psychology program for admission requires NPAT/CAT/CMAT/ATMA scores. The BSW and BA Social Sciences programs admits students on the basis of TISSNET/CMAT/CAT scores.
The programs available to undergraduate students are BA Economics (Hons), Integrated BA/MA in Psychology, BA Social Sciences (Hons), BSW in Social Work, BA in Social Entrepreneurship and BRM in Rural Management. TISSNET 2024, the admission test for TISS, has been planned in the month of January 2024. The scores scored by candidates in CAT/MAT and other national level management entrance examination can also be utilized in seeking admission to these UG courses.
Among the PG programmes, TISS Hyderabad offers are MA in Development Studies, MA in Public Policy and Governance, M.A. in Law, Politics and Society and Integrated M.A./M.Sc. in Applied Psychology. The requirements may differ by department – for instance, if you are applying for MA in Development Studies, you will need to be a holder of a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% average grade from a recognized university.
