The TERI School of Advanced Studies was founded in 1998 and caters to students interested in undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in fields such as biotechnology, business sustainability, climate science, economics, energy studies, environment science, public policy, law. To gain admission to the B.A or B.B.A programs of economics or business sustainability, the candidate has to secure a minimum of 60% in the class Students applying for the MA Economics and the MSc Climate Science must have a Bachelor’s degree, preferably with an overall average of 55% or 60% depending on the program. Standard tests like CAT, MAT, XAT, CUCET, LSAT, CLAT and so on are permitted for appropriate courses.
The TERI SAS provides various and specialized programs in law, business, economics, biotechnology, regulation and policy, sustainability and environmental, natural resources, water and waste management. The selections shall be done, depending on the academic background, performance on the entrance test and interviews.
Process for filling up of Admission Form online Read the instructions carefully before filling up the form:
1. Photo identity proof like Aadhaar card/ PAN card/ Passport.
2. The date of birth could be attested by a copy of the 10th standard mark sheet and passing certificate issued by a recognized board.
3. Original certificates of 12th standard mark sheet and passing certificate from a recognized board in original as a proof of eligibility.
4. Copy of the graduation degree certificate and mark sheets of a recognized university for fulfilling the qualification requirement.
5. For the program applying to, all candidates are required to attach their standard examination scores such as GMAT/CAT/GATE scores (if any) Score card.
6. Experience certificates from previous employers if necessary to support the programme the candidate is applying for.
1. Any requirements like the minimum academic qualifications, performance in an entrance exam and professional experience.
2. Select the Ph.D program and research area among those offered for the interested institute.
3. Use online or offline means together with all the necessary documents before the deadline.
4. In cases where one is selected to join the company, they also have to sit for a written test and/or an interview round.
5. Receive your final admission confirmation, once you have passed all the selection criteria.
6. To get enrolled for admission in an institute, a candidate has to submit some documents and pay some fees to get his admission confirmed.
7. All students should be able to start their Ph.D research programs, complete all the required coursework and produce a thesis within the time frame.

1. Overview standard entry requirements such as having a bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks from a recognized university in the relevant subject.
2. You can submit your application online or off line with in the last date mentioned on advertisment on the website. Pay application fees.
3. Appear for written entrance test if any and the qualification test as well, if it is applicable. Check result.
4. Go for counselling session if so advised by the doctor. Upload documents and academic certificates and other relevant papers.
5. Block seat by paying the admission fee. Get admission letter and fee receipt as the final document.
6. Ensure that all other enrollment procedures are completed before the start of the program in the set timeframe.
1. For admission to the PGDM course for two year, candidates have to qualify grad degree with minimum 50% marks and entrance tests like CAT/XAT scores.
2. Through website, send filled form via email, attach documents, pay around Rs. 1,200 as fees.
3. Ranking - Depending on the scores, profile and experience of the participants in the GD/PI rounds.
4. GD/PI - Knowledge based on concepts, understanding of personality, aspects of communication.
5. Final stage/Selection criteria- Merit list prepared on the basis of entrance test scores, Group discussion, personal interview.
6. Enrollment- They should admit the students and process fees of about 3 lakhs per annum if offered before the due time.
