The University of Agricultural and Horticultural Sciences Bangalore or UAHS is a university for undergraduate and postgraduate dealing with departments of agriculture, horticulture, forestry, food science, agricultural marketing, agribusiness management, sericulture and agricultural engineering. Degree requirement differs from department to department – For BSc Agriculture, 12th pass with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology with not less than 50% marks in aggregate is required. Admission through KEA and COMEDK, ICAR tests are taken as well.
It imparts education through its various courses in streams like Agriculture, horticulture, Forestry, Food science, Agricultural marketing, Agribusiness management, Sericulture and Agricultural engineering. Different degrees at the bachelor’s, master’s, doctorate, and diplomas are taught within these fields. The candidates are selected on a merit basis depending on their performances in the 12th exams/entrance tests.

2. To apply for a course of choice one has to visit the home page, click on the ‘Admission’ tab, then click on the course that one wants to apply for and fill in the application form.
3. Online application has to be filled with personal and academic information and the documents have to be attached.
4. For the online payment of the application fees using payment gateway.
5. Print final submitted from and all other documents that is required.
6. Completed Application Form should be provided as a hard copy together with the documents before the deadline to the university address.
7. The status of the application once submitted is available on the website and should therefore be frequently checked.
Documents Required for Admission in UAHS Bangalore for Different Courses:
1. The students are selected through the online/off line process with the attested copies of 10th and 12th marks cards along with other relevant documents and applying the marks cards.
2. Take the entrance test if applicable or else get ready for the merit list in accordance to the 12th standard marks.
3. Students should check the merit list in the official website of the college or as per the information displayed on the notice board regarding their selection or non-selection.
4. Ensure you accept the offer by paying tuition fees as depicted in the fee structure if admitted.
5. Ensure that all forms are filled and proper registration procedures are followed during orientation.
6. Enroll in classes and follow schedules and course syllabi for 3 years to attain the B.Sc qualification.

1. Eligibility – The candidate must possess a Master’s degree with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade. Pass UAHS entrance examination and obtain at least a score of 50% for the entrance.
2. For this purpose, it can be filed online or on a prescribed application from January to March. Pay application fees.
3. To sit for a written entrance examination in April/May. A written type exam with questions in multiple choices with specific sections for research aptitude, subject knowledge, and analytical skills.
4. If one has qualified the written test, he/she has to go for a personal interview in June/July. Evaluates one’s research areas and topics of interest, subject knowledge, and language proficiency.
5. This should be checked in August for the merit list. Scholarship offers written on the selected candidates according to the written test and interview results.
6. Secure admission through paying an agreed amount of tuition fees. Complete enrollment formalities. Lodge myself in respective PhD program according to the time mentioned in the offer letter.
1. Some of the other essential component includes checking for the eligibility criterion like bachelor’s degree or any other entrance test for the desired program, minimum percentage for the same.
2. Submit it online or offline as per the date mentioned with the required documents on or before.
3. Sit for entrance test if any like PGET or GATE as the case maybe.
4. Wait for the merit list when released, and look for an invitation for the counseling session.
5. Go for counselling according to the slot, and for the specialization, follow the merit rank.
6. Pay the fees, submit all necessary documents and join program batch confirms the admission.
