The University of Kalyani is situated at Kalyani, West Bengal, India which provides various Under Graduate and Post Graduate courses in arts, science commerce, law, education etc. These criterions in terms of qualification requirements are likely to differ from one department to the other and course to course. In the case of BA in Bengali, English, Hindi, History, Philosophy, Political Science, Economics, etc. the required qualification is to pass 12th standard examination with the subjects concerned. The courses available for pursuing BSc are Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, etc. the admission criteria for these courses is 12th Science stream with the related subjects. The requirement to join BCom in any university is that one needs to pass the 12th standard with any stream. For LLB, BA LLB, BBA LLB it is required that the candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in relevant subject. The B.A Education and B.Sc Computer Science & IT courses have common entrance exam policy where they accept all national level entrance exam like WBJEE, JEE main, CLAT, CUCET etc.
Some of the major fields in which the University has developed interest are Arts, Commerce, Science, Law and Education, and it has UG and PG courses in about 50 streams. The process of applying for the academic year 2024 is expected to commence in May, 2023. Relevant national and state level entrance exam dates for various programs are: The specific exams include WBJEE – April 2023, JEE Main – Jan & April 2023, CLAT – May 2023, CUCET – May/June 2023. For the All UG Arts, Science, Commerce and most PG programs the admission is through merit in the qualifying examination. The submission of the application is online and involves scanned copies of eligibility documents submission as well. Some courses in the fields of PG Science have entrance examinations that students have to sit for. All programs require a personal interview before admission confirmation, and the interview is conducted individually. Hostel facility is available for students separately which they can avail on paying the separate fees after getting themselves admitted into the college.

- In order to do this you need to visit the university website and navigate to the admissions page. The website should inform the eligibility for admission to the B.Tech programs, the documents needed, fees and other charges, etc.
- Most universities have an online application form that must be filled and submitted, accompanied by copies of the documents in electronic form. This includes things like the 10th and 12th mark-sheets, if any entrance test was appeared then mark-sheet of it, etc.
- It should also meet other aspects set by the university as to the minimum education qualifications, the entrance test scores, etc. They differ from university to university.
- If deemed necessary for a particular course, they should sit for and write entrance exams such as JEE Mains. Apply using these marks/rank.
