Venkateshwara Open University Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. For admission to Bachelors degree programs, one should have passed the 10+2 examination from any recognized board. All applicants should be more than 18 years of age.
2. Master’s degree programs have requirements that include a bachelor’s degree in the specific course or field from a recognized university. Minimum qualification of 45% marks in the aggregate is mandatory for the candidates applying for the post.
3. Diploma programs admissions are offered to the aspirants who have passed their 10+2 exam. Work experience may also be taken into consideration depending on the nature of the job in relation to the debris field. Each candidate should be at least 16 years old.
4. For admission into PG Diploma programs, candidates need to have bachelor’s degree from any recognized university. Marks that a student must score to pass the course, though the law does not prescribe a minimum pass percentage.
5. The certificate programs are offered to candidates who are 10th standard passed. Work experience may also be taken into account in some programs in relation to the given field of study. No minimum percentage required.
6. Doctoral (PhD) programmes are usually offered to candidates who possess a postgraduate degree in the relevant subject area. Candidates should have obtained the minimum 55% marks in their master’s degree examination. A candidate also has to clear an entrance examination.
