The undergraduate and postgraduate courses for the current academic year are available at Visva Bharati University, a university located in Birbhum, West Bengal. The admission criteria differs department wise- for the B.A degree in Economics or English one requires a minimum of 50% in the aggregate of Class XII for the B.Sc degree. that in Physics or Chemistry one needs to have passed Chemistry/Physics and Mathematics in standard XII with 50% and above. All courses accept national level tests such as NEET, GATE, CAT depending upon the stream, For MBA admission, CAT score is considered.
It offers programs in certain fields of study which include humanities, sciences , social sciences, fine arts and music among others. Since most of the courses are at postgraduate level, the admission process is online application either on the university website or exam websites such as GATE/CAT. Process for filling up of Admission Form online Read the instructions carefully before filling up the form:
1. Mark lists and documents such as Aadhar card, voter card, driving license, and passport to ascertain the candidate’s identity and suitability.
2. Marks sheet/ certificate of having passed class 10 for proving that the applicant has passed the secondary education level which is one of the eligibility criteria.
3. For the purpose of checking the merit of the candidates for admission based on their academic performance, marks sheets of class 12th is needed with pass certificate.
4. To determine the candidate’s eligibility for postgraduate programs, the mark sheet of Graduation and other documents required for post graduation, such as degree certificates.
5. Caste certificates like SC/ST/OBC, if required for availing of reserved seats and quotas as and where they exist.
6. Other certificates such as income certificate, transfer certificate, migration certificate, character certificate which may be required by certain program or quota system depending on the University.
1. To apply for these courses, send an online application through the university’s website or collect an application form from the places mentioned at the time of notification.
2. Provide the documents such as 10th and 12th mark sheets, caste certificate if any, domicile certificate etc.
3. Select preferred course and college for UG/PG program based on eligibility criteria meet according to priority.
4. First, if selected, download the allotment letter and then pay fees to confirm their admission.
5. Seems to have scheduled the date, report to the allotted college, with necessary documents for spot admission.
6. Some of the things that have to be completed at the college are the submission of undertaking, medical certificate, affidavit against ragging.
1. B.Sc courses in VBU Birbhum Elgibility:- Applicants should have 10+2 Science stream pass certificate with minimum 45% marks.
2. Download the Admission Form or collect it from the University office with the payment of the fees and affix the documents including mark sheets of 10th and 12th, certificates and photographs etc.
3. Accomplish Admission Form completely with all academic, personal information, preferred course choices before the deadline mentioned.
4. If, in merit list, student is selected, deposit admission and semester fees in the specified bank. Collect receipts.
5. Submit all necessary documents and fees receipts to the college that was assigned to admit him/her on the scheduled date. Get admission confirmation.
6. Claim ID card and timetable at the orientation session. Start attending B.Sc classes according to the timetable provided by the school/college/university.

1. Reading the job description carefully and ensure you meet the requirement such as possession of a Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks from a recognized university.
2. For admission to the VBU, it is mandatory to fill the application form online or offline before the last date mentioned in the admission notification.
3. Sit for the university entrance test if pertinent for the M.Sc program you are applying for.
4. Verify merit list when it is released by the university as a means of identifying whether or not one has been selected.
5. If placed, the candidates have to upload marksheets, certificates, ID proof.
6. Pay the admission and semester fees for admission confirmation and to get enrollment completed with in stipulated time.
7. The admission procedures are also followed and the admission forms are filled and the candidate enrolls for the respective program as per university rules and regulation.

5. Selected – Merit list prepared by tallying written test and interview performance.
