The Yogi Vemana University also referred to as YUVA is a state university of Andhra Pradesh situated at Kadapa. Yogi Vemana University Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. For undergraduate programs; passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with minimum 50 % marks for open category and 45% marks for SC and ST/OBC (NCL) category.
2. For postgraduate programs, a bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject with minimum 50% aggregate percentage & for reserved category, 45%.
3. For MPhil, one must possess a postgraduate degree with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates).
4. For PhD, post graduate degree with minimum 55% of marks along with qualifying exam is necessary.
5. Reduction in percentage for those candidates who are physically challenged as per the degree of disability they possess.
6. No upper age limit. UG has no age bar but PG course must be at least 19 years as on 1st July of admission year.
