There is no condition of minimum percentage for taking admission in design and journalism programs instead the candidates are required to go through certain aptitude tests. Admissions to all the programs will be based on the qualifying examination as CBSE, ICSE or other state board. Entrance tests scores of national and state level are also taken into consideration if they are relevant to the field of study.
The institute imparts education in more than 25 Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses under Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Management & Commerce, Computer Applications, Pharmacy, Art & Design, Law and Journalism & Mass Communication. The admission process usually begins in the month of April every year whereby applicants are required to apply online or offline for various Streams. For the engineering, hotel management and pharmacy courses, the entrance tests are MP PET/ JEE Main/ NEET and the respective national/state level entrance tests are conducted in April-July. 1. The candidates should have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination in Science group with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics as main subjects; obtaining an aggregate of at least 50%.
2. The candidates will be selected on merit in the qualifying examination as one of the selection criteria. Candidates who will be selected to the next level shall be required to attend counseling session in which their documents will be authenticated before they are given the offer.
