CMRGI, full form of CMR Group of Institutions is one of the leading institutes of higher learning located in Hyderabad, Telangana. Based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, CMR was set up in 1991 and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The institute has been acknowledged by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and has received ‘A’ grade. The University of CMR provides undergraduate and postgraduate programs in fields like engineering, Pharmacy, Management, Computer applications etc. Some of the larger courses offered by the institution comprises of B.Tech, M.Tech, BBA, MBA, B.Pharm and M.Pharm. These programs shall be offered for the 2024 batch, and admissions are expected to begin in May 2023. The entrance exams are to be held in the months of April — May. Candidates may fill the form through online portal or may download application form and send it to organization. The admission will be then based on the scores obtained in TSEAMCET/TSICET/ JEE Main or GPAT scores or any national level examination etc. While most of the UG programs, the last date of application submission is June 20, 2023 and for admission into PG programs, it is July 30, 2023.
CMR has a very good placement record where many companies like Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Tech, Mahindra TCS, Capgemini etc visit CMR for campus placement every year. The graduating batch of 2021-22, the placement record was a record high with more than 92% of students placed across 120 companies, including the highest salary package of INR 18.5 LPA. The average salary packages were good in engineering and pharmacy branches with 7 LPA offered to students. Some of the recruiters who visited the campus were the big IT/Software service providing companies, companies in core engineering, pharmaceuticals, BFSI and research organizations which showed the quality of education and training provided by CMR Group of Institutions.
