Deshbandhu college is a degree College in New Delhi; it offers under graduate courses in arts, commerce, science and management streams. According to the course, the college offers BA in the stream of Economics, English, Hindi, History, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, Geography, etc The criteria for admission to the BA courses is that the candidate must pass the 12th standard examination in any group with at least 50% marks. For the BCom course, the college accepts national level entrance exams such as the JEE Main, CAT, MAT, etc. For BCom, the candidate must score 50% in their 12th standard exams. Course like Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany etc fall under BSc category and one require minimum 55% in class 12th PCM/PCB groups. BCA course accepts national level exam like IIT JEE Score, NPAT, etc. It is compulsory that the candidate must have Mathematics in 12th standard and must have scored least 50% marks. 

The following are the key dates and procedure for admission for admission in 2024 academic year -  The College will be issuing the Admission Application forms through the College website starting mid April 2024. The University Entrance Test, DUET, IP University exam for admission into the B.A. programme and other courses will be held in May 2024 . The admission first cut off list will be released by the last week of June 2024. Admission to documents and against this list will occur in July 2024. Final cutoff list will be provided by last week of July 2024. The admission process includes the following steps – First, they will fill an online form, second they will write the national or university level entrance exam, third they should secure the cutoff marks, fourth they will submit their documents and make fees payment. They shall be made through a combination of merit, entrance test results, options filled and the number of seats available in particular courses.
