An autonomous engineering college located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, Don Bosco Institute of Technology (DBIT) was set up in the year 1984. DBIT was established in 2006 and it is approved by the AICTE and it is affiliated to the University of Mumbai. It is an ISO 9001:2015 certified institute and as per the grade card it has NAAC ‘A’ Grade with 3.23 cumulative Grade Point Average. From the NIRF Rankings 2023 that were recently released, DBIT is ranked 151 of all the engineering colleges in India.
DBIT provides education in undergraduate and postgraduate streams in diverse fields of engineering and technology. The B.Tech programs that are offered are in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics & Telecommunications, Mechanical Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. DBIT also offers its students M.Tech in Computer Engineering, VLSI and Embedded System along with Mechanical Engineering. The admission will then be targeted towards the 2024 batch where the process is expected to begin in May 2023. For admission, students are required to appear for MHT-CET 2023 examination and after that students have to undergo counselling round. The new session will start from August, 2023 for the grade 1 to 8.
