B.Tech programs have certain prescribed norms of admission applicable to most department and these are at least 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and mathematics as pre-requisites and any other one of chemistry/ biotechnology /biology/ computer science / information technology with at least 50% of marks in aggregate. It has a consideration of the national level entrance exams like JEE Mains, Haryana DET, JEE Advanced for admission purpose. Particular courses such as B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering use exams like JEE Mains, Haryana DET and CUCET while B.Tech in Electrical Engineering also accepts GATE test.
The institute provides only full-time B.Tech degree programs in 6 streams spread over the period of 4 years. The B.Tech courses available are Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering. Soon after national/ state level entrance exams, admissions to these programs for 2024 batch will be open. 1. Valid GATE score: One of the key requirements that was put forward for students seeking to join MTech programs at DCE was that they had to be GATE qualified. A valid GATE Score card is mandatory for candidates.
