Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology (GTBIT) in New Delhi offers a multitude of its engineering and technology programs for its students through the different departments it has established. The department of Computer Science provides the students with B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering which is applicable on the basis of passing class 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. To cater the admission in the year 2024, GTBIT is providing a wide range of Under Graduate & Post Graduate programs in Engineering, Information Technology, Natural Science, Management Studies, Pharmacy, Design, Architecture, Applied Sciences, Humanities & Social Sciencesetc. National level tests that are required as per disciplines and courses include JEE Main, GATE, CAT, MAT, CEED, UCEED, CLAT, LSAT, UPSEE, JEECUP, IP University CET, DUET and other state level examinations. CEED & UCEED for 2024 admissions in the first week of January, JEE Main January and April session, MET/NMIMS NPAT in the first week of February, IP University CET in the first week of April, UPSEE the last week of April, COMEDK in the 1st week of May. - The admissions are done and the candidate’s score on the JEE Main is considered for this purpose. Coming to the eligibility criterion, the candidate applying for this program should have a valid JEE Main score.
- To seek admission into the 4-year B.Tech programme, the candidates should have passed in 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects and one of the chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical vocational subjects.
- The candidates belonging to general category must have obtained at least 75% aggregate in 10+2 while the candidates belonging to SC/ST categories should have secured at least 65% aggregate marks.
- The process of selecting these students is through the percentile score in the JEE Main merit list. The higher the percentile score, the better the candidate’s chances of being selected for an interview.
- Apart from the JEE scores, GTBIT has its own standards of admission, which include the requisite qualifications and the minimum marks a student needs to obtain in order to be admitted into the institution.
