The K J Somaiya Institute of Management Mumbai is one of the leading management institutes in India, which focuses on providing overall development to the students alongside a revamped curriculum. The Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) program is being offered by various universities and the admission to the program is given on the basis of the marks obtained in the HSC exams or the entrance tests like CET, ATMA, CAT, XAT. The BBA Integrated with MBA also accepts its candidates through CET, MHCET, CAT, MAT and GMAT examinations also. University exempted from paying fee for the first year of Bachelor of Mass Media program accepts the entrance examinations like the CET and ATMA, as well as the performance in the HSC examinations for admission. The BSc Finance program has a criterion of selecting students on the basis of their marks in HSC conducted in relevant subjects or any other test like CET/ CAT.

The eligibility criteria for admission in a PhD programme across departments include Master’s degree or its equivalent in the appropriate discipline with minimum aggregate of 55%. The Common qualifying tests include CAT, XAT, MAT, ATMA, CMAT, GMAT and NET.
The PhD in Finance programmes admit students based on CAT, GMAT, and UGC NET scores while the Marketing PhD programme admits students based on CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, MATRA, ATMA and GMAT. For seeking admission in the PhD in Human Resources, the acceptable tests are UGC NET, CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA, and GMAT.
