Madanapalle Institute of Technology & Science (MITS) is one of the self financing and the autonomous engineering college situated in Madanapalle of Andhra Pradesh. MITS was set up in the year 1998 under section 2(f) & 12(A) of UGC Act and is approved by the AICTE, Anantapur and is affiliated to the JNTUA University. It has been accredited NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) with ‘A’ Grade accreditation. In the recently announced NIRF rankings for the year 2023, MITS has been placed at a disappointing 151st among all engineering colleges in India.
The institute provides B.E/B.Tech and M.E/M.Tech courses in the various fields of engineering and technology like Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology and MCA. The general entry level usually starts in May each year. Madanapalle Institute of Technology & Science Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. Candidate should have cleared 10+2 examination with mathematics and/or physics, chemistry, and any one of the mentioned subjects like biology, bio-technology or computer science having minimum 50% marks in average.
2. Minimum qualifying score in JEE Main / AP-EAMCET / SAT or other national level tests recognized by the institute for the programme applied for.
3. Pass in 10+2 from any recognized State/ CBSE/ ICSE Education Board with the relevant subjects as per the requirements mentioned for the respective program.
4. Must have passed the English subject at the level of 10+2.
5. For the lateral entry admissions, the candidate also needs to have done his diploma in engineering in the relevant specialization from a recognized technical board.
