Satyawati College New Delhi offers undergraduate programmes across streams: B.A. Honours with subjects such as Economies, English, Hindi, History, Political Science, Sanskrit etc. B.Com Honours and B.Sc Honours with options like Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics etc. For most courses the pass requirement for admission is the completion of twelfth standard with a minimum fifty percent marks in aggregates. However, to apply for the B.Sc programs the candidate should have taken relevant subjects in his/her 12th grade. Some of the accepted tests are CUET, DUET etc and other criteria includes 12th grade percentage.
It presently has about 16 undergraduate honours programmes and these are spread in the fields of humanities, commerce and science. The CUET examination is set to be held at the national level in July 2023 and the University of Delhi is likely to release the registration form for admission to the 2024 batch in March 2023. Admission into the university will be through Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUET) and the percentage/ marks obtained in the 12th standard. Following registrations, colleges will declare cutoffs and all those candidates who have secured marks above the cutoff will get a chance to exercise their choices in the college and courses they desire through the university website. This will be accompanied by documents’ authentication at the respective colleges before admission. The whole exercise will be done before September 2024 when the new academic session for the universities is supposed to start.

Student has to enter some of the relevant details which is mandatory in the online application form mostly asking details like personal information, information about the qualifying examination, information about the program that the student wants to apply etc. student has to upload scanned copy of some of the necessary documents. Process for filling up of Admission Form online Read the instructions carefully before filling up the form:
- To enroll in the college, they have to pass a common entrance test held by the college based on their performance in class 12th. These candidates are informed that cut-off marks have been released for various programs.
- In most cases general category candidates have cut-off marks of 90% or above in class 12th for the majority of colleges. The cut off marks differ every year depending on the number of students who applied for specific course.
- It also maintains specific cut off lists for the candidates, who fall under the specially abled categories such as SC, ST, OBC and so on; the marks they have to secure are comparatively lesser than the general candidates.
- Sometimes, based on the subject combination offered, the student’s preference is given to specific subject combinations for the class 12th examination in order to secure admission in a specific course in BA.
- Sometimes there can be certain other parameters like aptitude tests, interviews etc that are also considered along with the class 12th marks while preparing the selection/merit list.
- Actual admission is made by filling up the seats purely on the basis of the declared Toppers Cut-off list in a sequential manner.

2. You can Either fill the registration form online on the University of Delhi admission or collect the application form from the college. To get to the registration page, you will need to complete the personal and academic information about yourself.
3. Fill in the admission form by opting for Satyawati College and the specific BA program or majors offered for admission. Be selective when choosing subjects or courses of study.
4. Upload the scanned documents as per the given instructions - 10th and 12th mark sheets , school certificates , conserved documents , passport photos etc.

- Students are expected to pass above the set cut off percentage which varies with the category the student belongs to. Cut-off is the basic requirement of eligibility that is expected to be fulfilled by the candidate.
- If there are empty seats still the college might give admission on the basis of an entrance test and interview if the cut-off lists have not filled up all the seats.
- In the case of the reserved category of students like SC/ST/OBC, they are to have a relaxation of up to 10% on the overall cut-off marks.
- Apart from cut-off percentages, special attention is paid to the Commerce stream of the candidates passed in their 12th standard.
- The selection factor encompasses the merit criteria which is the cut – off marks as well as reservation policies of the Delhi University.
