Viva College is a prominent higher learning institution in the Virar city of Maharashtra. It was started in 1994 and is one of the most sought after colleges in the region and it is NAAC ‘A’ graded college. The college has various courses that include undergraduate and postgraduate ones that are under Arts, Commerce Science, Computer Applications and more. According to the NIRF ranking system that was released recently, Viva College currently stands at position 65 among colleges in India thus underlining the quality of education being offered by the institute.
The college provides numerous options in every field at UG and PG levels of education. UG courses offered by SSMC include B.Com, B.A. majoring in Economics/English/Psychology, BSc majoring in Microbiology/IT/Computer Science, BCA, BMM, BAF and more, and examinations common to most courses are normally conducted in March/April of the year. Apart from, it also provides post graduate courses including M.Com, M.A., MSc and MCA. These programs are available for enrollment and the entries are given out based on performance in qualifying tests. Practically, the admission process usually begins in May every year, where students are required to register online, submit their application, their documents, and make their fees payments on the college website.

Viva College Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. Engineering (B.Tech)- A candidate should possess the 10+2 qualification with physics, chemistry, maths with not less than 60% of marks from any recognized board.
2. Medical (MBBS) - 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology as optional subjects and with not less than 60% of marks from any recognized Board; passed in NEET.
3. Management (BBA/MBA)- 50% marks in graduate degree from any recognized university; valid test scores of the entrance test for MBA.
4. Law (LLB)- A graduate or post graduate degree in any discipline from a University recognized by the bar council of India with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and pass in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) or any other equivalent law test.
5. Design (B.Des) - 10+2 in any stream minimum 50% marks and should have portfolio that demonstrate creativity.
6. Hospitality (BHM)- This educational qualification can be obtained from any stream with minimum 50% marks in 10+2 examinations from any recognized board.
