1. Restriction on number of years: only candidates between the ages of 18-35 are allowed to pursue degree programs while there is no restriction for diploma and certification programs.

2. Education Qualifications: 10+2 pass for degree courses, 10th pass for diploma and certification programs

3. The selection criterion for degree programs should be based on merit through entrance tests. 

4. Conventional approach of direct admission through application for diploma and certification programs

5. Concession in fees for girl students and students belonging to the economically weaker section.

6. Preferably, the candidate’s home state should be Maharashtra but it is not mandatory for admitting the candidates.
