The Bachelor of Engineering or BE Computer Science is an Undergraduate program that spans for a period of four years and offers training in aspects of computing such as; programming, software development, algorithms, operating systems, databases, computer networks. The BE Computer Science program for SCMS aims to equip the students with both practical experience as well as theoretical knowledge. 1. Candidates must have cleared the 10+2 examination in Science stream, having Physics, Chemistry and Maths as subjects, with at least 60% in aggregate from a recognized board.
2. Must have cleared the engineering entrance examinations such as JEE Main, state CET, or any other examination based on the college/university.
3. For IITs – Students passed the JEE Advanced examination and meet the required passing marks in the categories.
4. For students from diploma or any other stream completed 10+2 equivalent exam in Physics, Chemistry, Maths.
5. There is no upper age limit but the lower age limit is seventeen years on or before 31st December of the admission year.
6. It is to be noted that some of the college/universities may conduct their own entrance tests and the marks obtained or the previous academic records could also be considered as eligibility criteria.
