It is a private university, which was established in the year 2014 and the university is situated in Chailchowk region of Mandi district in Himachal Pradesh. UG is recognized by the university grant commission ugc and naac has given ‘b+’ grade to this university. In the recently released NIRF 2023 university rankings Abhilashi University has been placed in the band 101-150 in India universities.

Abhilashi University Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)

1. A candidate seeking admission to any undergraduate programs must have passed 10+2 or any other equivalent examination conducted by any recognized by a board/council with not less than 50% marks in aggregate. It is possible that some programs may require additional requirements.

2. Now coming to the eligibility criteria for the PG programs, the student must hold a bachelor’s degree in relevant field with minimum 50% of the total marks from any university. To be more specific, some programs require better percentages in the form of higher percentages. 

3. For Ph.D. and integrated programs, it is mandatory that the students should have completed the relevant master’s degree with minimum 55% marks. Performance in entrance tests also may be taken into account.

4. In case of the diploma and certification programs, applicants should have passed the 10+2 examination. Some programs may require that you have relevant work experience before you can be admitted into the program.  

5. The government has set requirements that international students must have completed qualifications that are equivalent to the AIU norms. Speaking and understanding English is compulsory and here the scores are the proofs.

6. This may include minimum percentage criteria relaxation based on government norms for student belonging to the reserved category. Sports quota has different eligibility criteria for students with the tag.
