The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Shoolini University was set up in the year 2007 and within a short span of time it has emerged as one of the premier institutions of pharmaceutical sciences in India. The faculty provides education in BPharm, MPharm, PharmD and PhD in various disciplines of pharmaceutical sciences. Students can choose to major in Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmacognosy, Quality Assurance etc Students seeking admission in the BPharm and MPharm programs for the batch 2024 will be in May 2023. The candidates who wish to take admission into IG NOVAS will have to take the SUAT entrance examination in June 2023. The choice will be made depending on the results from the qualifying examination as well as the entrance test. The specifics of the test are that the PhD admission test is to be conducted in July 2023.

Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Shoolini University Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)

1. BPharm – Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Mathematics as subjects securing minimum 50% marks in aggregate. Should have cleared any national/state level entrance exam.

2. MPharm – A Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. Should have qualified GPAT/university entrance exam. Fields such as Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology etc. 

3. PhD - Master of Pharmacy in relevant specialization with minimum 55% marks. Should have qualified GPAT/ NET or any other national/ state level examination as per IGNOU norms. Specializations include Pharmaceutics, Pharmacognosy and so on.

4. In Pharmacovigilance – BSc., 10+2 examination pass in Science stream with minimum 50% aggregate marks. Its areas include identification, evaluation, and supervision of other untoward impacts of the pharmaceutical products.

5. Diploma in Pharmacy – candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics. 6 months on the job training required after the course at the pharmacy. Training areas include manufacturing, quality control, distribution, and other aspects of drug preparation.

6. BSc Anesthesia & Operation Theatre Techniques - Candidate should have passed 10+2 examination in Science stream with minimum 50% marks aggregate and English as a compulsory subject. Include skills in administration of anesthesia, helping in the operation theatre.

The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Shoolini University consists of undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses in pharmaceutical sciences. The BPharm or the Bachelor of Pharmacy program is a four-year program, and the training includes areas such as pharmaceutics, medicinal chemistry, pharmacology, pharmaceutical analysis, among others. 

The MPharm is a 2-year postgraduate level program offered at the School of Pharmacy and offers areas of specialization in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology, Quality Assurance, and Pharmacy Practice. This program concentrates on the ideas and studies in the advanced level in the area of pharmaceuticals.
