Akal University Bathinda is a private university that has various streams like engineering, law, management, sciences, education agriculture, and pharmacy, physiotherapy, and nursing. The eligibility differs from department to department – for the BTech streams, the candidate must have completed Class XII with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and have minimum 60% marks in aggregate. For BBA and MBA, people can apply irrespective of the stream they have passed in their 12th standard or graduation. For admission to the law programs, there are no restrictions as to the stream of graduation, provided minimum 50% has been secured by the candidate. The BSc programs admit students with aggregate 10+2 passed with relevant subjects only. The university accepts scores of several national level entrance tests such as JEE Main, CLAT, CAT, CMAT, NEET and many others based on the course.
