AIIMS Bhopal - Admission, Courses, Fees & Rankings 2024

AIIMS Bhopal is an autonomous institution and established in 2012 under the union ministry of health & family welfare, Government of India. They recommend it for use in practice and it has been accredited by numerous health profession licensing boards, and it has NAAC Grade A standards with an aggregate percentage of 3.35 points. NIRF Rankings 2023 announced recently for medical colleges, AIIMS Bhopal has been placed at the 10th position in the country.

It provides different types of medical programs for the undergraduate and postgraduate degree in various streams. The key programs it offers includes the MBBS, MD, MS, DM, MCh and MDS across various disciplines. Admission into these programs is through the AIIMS PG examination, which is offered twice a year, with possible dates in June and November/December of the year 2024. 

AIIMS Bhopal has ensured that employment opportunities are available for the students upon their completion of the course. Annual campus placement by top healthcare recruiters and hospitals provide students for their recruiting needs. Some of the regular recruiters of candidates are Medanta Hospita, Armesis Hospita, BLK Hospital, Max Health Care, Fortis Health Care and Apollo Hospitals. The students who opt for further studies after MBBS are recruited by famous institutes in India and overseas as well. The median salary packages are between INR 15-20 LPA with some of the percentile packages being between INR 30-50 LPA.

AIIMS Bhopal Courses Details 2024

AIIMS Bhopal has faculties of MBBS, MD/MS, MDS, DM/MCh, and PhD. The institute is divided into many departments & centres such as anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pharmacology, pathology, microbiology, forensic medicine, community medicine, medicine, surgery, obstetrics & gynecology, pediatrics, anesthesia, radio diagnosis, dentistry & many more.

The placement report of AIIMS Bhopal is very positive and most of the students get placed soon after passing out from the college. Few of the well-known companies that offer placements to the students after visiting the campus are Tata Memorial Centre, Apollo Hospitals, Fortis Healthcare, Max Healthcare etc. The maximum number of placements offered in the year 2023 was with the highest package of INR 1.8 CPA offered by Tata Memorial Centre Mumbai. Presently, the students graduating from AIIMS Bhopal secure an average salary of INR 15-20 LPA from the hospitals as well as from pharma firms. MBBS students get placement through campus interviews which are held at least once every year, where 85-90% of students get placements.
