AIIMS Bhopal provides plentiful numbers of medical courses in various fields. The basic admission requirement for the MBBS course is passing the class XII exams with an aggregate of 60% marks for the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. AIIMS Bhopal is affiliated to the University of Bhopal & it provides several undergraduate programs in the different fields of medical, dental, nursing and allied health sciences. For most of the UG medical courses, students should pass class 12th and should have done Physics, chemistry, Biology with 60% of marks as aggregate. Admission to this course is still restricted and students must qualify for the national level examinations like NEET UG to get admission. The BSc nursing program requires the candidate to be a class 12th pass with any stream with subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The BDS dental surgery programme offer seats to students based on the NEET UG entrance examination.

AIIMS Bhopal provides PhD courses in almost all departments like Anatomy, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pathology, Pharmacology, Physiology, Community and Family Medicine, Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Pediatrics, Anaesthesiology, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics, Otolaryngology, Psychiatry, Radio Diagnosis, Cardiology, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Pulmonology. The requirements differ slightly from one department to another but the basic requirement is a postgraduate medical degree such as MD/MS/DNB or Degree in MSc/MA/MCom with minimum 55% marks.
