Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD) has different undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Humanities, Social Science, Mathematical Science, Design, Education and law, Politics and Governance, Performing arts, Psychology, Sustainability. Eligibility criterion differs from department to department and for BA Honours one must clear 12th standard exam in respective stream with minimum 60% marks. MA, MSc and PhD programmes of the university demand a relevant Bachelor’s degree with minimum 55 percent marks. CUET, CEED, and UCEED are entrance exams accepted by the college.
The university provides thirty-six courses from five broad areas of emphasis. Fields include sciences, social sciences, humanities, design, education, law, mathematics and performing arts are some of the streams offered. The Steps in the Admission Process include Online Registration and Completion of the Admission Form. The candidates that satisfy the basic requirements are then shortlisted and then the group discussion and personal interview are conducted with them. It involves scoring system, academic performance, group discussion and interviews.
Process for filling up of Admission Form online Read the instructions carefully before filling up the form:
1. Photo identity card/Passport/Smart card with photo, Voter Card, Driving License, Aadhaar Card. This sets the initial record of your identity together with your date of birth.
2. Marksheets of 10th and 12th standard or examination equivalent to 10th and 12th standards. These are required to prove your earlier academic performance and scores.
3. Mark sheets/provisional certificate/d Degree to show passing standard, if applicable. These make you qualify for the program you want to join hence the importance of submitting the correct documents.
4. Community certificate for candidates intending to pursue admission under any of the reserved categories. This proves your eligibility under various quotas In this generation.
5. Any certificates in sports, NCC, NSS or any other activity, if the student will be applying under any quota or get additional points.
6. Some others which are income certificate, EWS certificate, differently abled certificate and migration certificate – as per the criteria of admission or course of program.
1. Review some important facts about the program of interest, such as the prerequisites and entrance exams, wherever necessary.
2. Complete an online or hand fill application with necessary documents before the admission time ends.
3. Sit for entrance examination if available, otherwise wait for the list to be prepared on merit basis regarding eligibility criteria.
4. When these lists are published, check them to see whether a selection has been made.
5. Submit and pay fees to confirm admission if offered a seat within the given time and produce other necessary documents.
6. All the processes of enrollment formalities like, document verification, hostel allotment etc. should be done at the campus level before the starting of the academic session.

2. Choose a research subject and a supervisor who will guide you through the studying process. Go to the AUD website and scroll through the faculties.
3. Applicants must apply on line on the AUD admission portal when the application is open, usually during April/May. Upload necessary documents.
4. Take a research entrance test, come for an interview if you have been selected. Tests held in June/July.
5. Declaration of results: will be announced in August. Candidates have been shortlisted and informed through email.
6. Some of the things that a student should do once they have been selected include: Payment for admission fees among others. Attend doctoral program as per the timetable in the schedule.

1. Review the list of documents required by AUD for M.Phil program and conditions that are set for qualifications and percentage.
2. Recognise the research field and ascertain the availability of a supervisor compatible with the research focus.
