Amity University Ranchi is a university that has many courses for students in many different areas of study including management, engineering, computer applications, commerce, science, law, and many more. At the department level, the eligibility criteria may differ. To take admission in BTech programs such as Computer Science, IT, Mechanical etc, a candidate needs to qualify class 12th with aggregate of minimum 50% from a recognized board and qualifying exam is JEE Main. For MBA, there are no restrictions in terms of stream of graduation and one can apply if the aggregate marks are 50%. Besides, there are some entrance tests are acceptable in all departments JEE Main, CAT, XAT, GMAT, AMUEEE. Undergraduate course, BA LLB and BBA LLB, provide admission to the candidates who have passed class 12th with minimum 45% for the general category. Major streams provided include management, engineering, computer applications, biotechnology, microbiology, bio chemistry, commerce, science, designs, law, journalism etc.
Amity University Ranchi provides various courses for the students in bachelors, masters and doctorate level in different fields of study. This means that the students are allowed to apply for admission through the online system or the traditional methods.

In addition, they have to complete the application form and pay the fee, including uploading the scanned copies of necessary documents.

Amity University Ranchi provides the facility of PhD in various fields and departments such as Management, Computer Science, Economics, Education, Engineering, Biotechnology, Pharmacy etc. There is difference in the eligibility criteria according to the departments but in general they should be Master’s degree holder in the respective discipline with minimum 55% marks. The admission for management studies is offered on the basis of CAT/MAT scores, computer science on the basis of GATE scores, education on the basis of UGC NET/JRF/SET and all other disciplines on the basis of GATE scores and GPAT scores.
