Cambridge Institute of Technology (CIT) is the leading technology institute of engineering and management at Bangalore, India. It was founded in the year 2001 and it is officially recognized by AICTE and it is an affiliated University of VTU. It has been accredited by NAAC to serve as a higher learning institution in the country since 2022, and it has been graded ‘A’. The NIRF rankings 2023 has placed CIT to 65th position among the engineering colleges in the country.
CIT has a wide range of courses in all the fields of engineering, technology, and management at the undergraduate an d postgraduate levels. The BTech programs include streams in computer science, information technology, electronics & communication engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, biotechnology and the like. CIT also has MTech programmes in streams such as Computer Science, VLSI and Embedded Systems, Digital Communication & Information Technology and Construction Technology Management. The MCA and MBA programs are designed to incorporate present day concepts in IT and current management principles. The admission process for the batch of 2024 is expected to start in mid 2023. Students are required to write KCET/COMEDK examinations after which they go for counseling in order to get admission.
